Description
The head may be elliptical, torispherical, hemispherical, conical, spherical-cap, or flat-bottom, depending on the vessel design. stainless steel tank heads are formed by pressing or by cold and hot spinning, with care taken to limit surface contamination during cutting, shaping, grinding, and handling. After the rim is trimmed, the flange and weld edge are finished for shell assembly. Pickling, passivation, polishing, matte finishing, or blasting can be arranged. Openings and orientation marks are added after the curved profile has been checked, so their positions follow the finished geometry. The surface is protected again before packing, especially when a polished interior has been specified.

Main Applications
Food, pharmaceutical, and pure-water vessels with defined cleaning requirements.
Chemical tanks where 304, 316L, 321, or 2205 is compatible with the medium.
Wastewater, humid outdoor, and marine-related equipment exposed to corrosive conditions.
Process tanks using stainless steel tank heads with polished or passivated internal surfaces.
Our Services
Grade and surface condition can be coordinated with the shell and welding consumables.
Protective handling is maintained through forming, trimming, polishing, and packing.
Openings, bevels, orientation marks, and loose reinforcement parts can be prepared from drawings.
Material certificates, dimensional records, and inspection reports can accompany the shipment.
Packing can include film, edge guards, timber supports, and export marks suited to the finish.
Technical staff can discuss storage, lifting, fit-up, and post-weld surface restoration.
Where several surface finishes are ordered, packing labels can identify them without opening the protective wrap.
